back to bern! day 15

today we rehearsed in on.off and it was fun! Tried some ideas out, and there is more to do and do and do!
We also did a run through for the upcoming performance in Wintertur…

This was a hard day and long working hours… We taught each other our floor phrases and as they are super fast and complexe we all had spinning heads after….
Day 11
Posted in production 2010 on October 14, 2009 by trio7d9We work on a floor phrase and each of us choreographs the own phrase. It is all about change of speed, change of direction… so hard to remember if you have to go fast….
We also started to rehearse our old piece for the performance in Winterthur…

Posted in production 2010 on October 13, 2009 by trio7d9Today all the three of us had to bring an idea for the structure of the piece. With these ideas we figured out a lot of new things and today we started to really create a first bit 🙂
Don’t worry – our piece is not going to be about cars…

We discuss about basic questions – what is excitement? what happens if one is excited? how can we excite the public? how do we get excited – or not? Where can we go to create something which goes beyond an exciting phrase?

we need to short out what works and what not and then start setting some material in more
detail. We are optimistic about many of our ideas and now we need to take care as to how to
set them exactly so that they have the desirable effect… some pictures of the studio, and a toy
marion brought to use for one of her propositions.
